Here is that really weird animal I was telling you about. The one that sounds like a gate that needs oil. Its called Jess. When I go up to try and sniff the smelly bits it keeps turning around and batting me with its paw. It sound like it has a leak and goes "ssssssssssssssssssss". It spent the first few days I was here sitting on top of chairs and cupboards. Strange animal. It will now meet me face to face but it still won't play. I run after it and it jumps over the gate. How can something so tiny jump so high? In this photo you can see my new rug. They still keep trying to get me to sit on it. Today my new family took me to the beach again. I've been good learning how to "come" when I'm called. So they let me off my lead for a while. I could go where I wanted, until I saw a man on the golf course who looked familiar and I went a bit far. I was back on the lead after that.
By the way, these posts are signed by Ken, but it's really me, Sirus. I'm still waiting for the Blogger help people to send me a password so I can sign my own posts.. See you soon.

Jo Jo was not a man
When my mistress said I was going for a vaccination I thought it was a holiday. She packed a towel and a rug and it was in the car again. I met a nice lady in a coat called Jo. She told me to jump up on this shiny table and said all sorts of nice things to me, then JAB - she sticks me in the neck and tells me I'm a good boy. The nerve! Some humans are just cruel.
After that it was back to my new home and I went for my first night time walk. I'm very scared of those things they call cars. For some crazy reason my humans seem pleased about that. They took me for a walk along the wharf and there were all sorts of smelly patches. They were very patient with me when I stopped to sniff.
They've also bought me some new toys - some coloured balls and a big piece of fur to play tug of war with. Everyone has played with me today. At night they let me sit in the house. They've bought me a big colourful mat. I'll send you a photo as soon as they let me have a go of the digital camera. Most of the time I sit on the mat, but every now and then I get up and walk over for a cuddle. At first they kept telling to get on the mat, but I think they've worked out I just need a quick cuddle, then I'll settle down for the night.
They have this really weird looking dog. It's small like a Jack Russell, and has whiskers! It makes this really sick noise like a gate that needs oil. I'll send you a photo of that too!
In the meantime I've managed to hack into their computer and find a photo of the lake. They really need to find a more secure password than W%f80Ww0W. Thats really obvious. I'll type again soon.

A day in the new life
Yesterday I was in the car for hours. I was very sad leaving my foster family, but I relaxed in the back of the car and settled down for the long trip to Wollongong. It was comforting to sit my head in Patrick's lap and listen to the music on the radio.
When we got to my new home they were very patient and they let me sniff and poke around. There is plenty of room for me and some nice shady places to explore and relax. I even had some chicken with my dinner, but I'm not feeling real hungry right now.
Today I woke up in a strange place. It seemed like a dream. I have an Igloo kennel. My new Mistress Roslyn has been trying to train me. Sheesh. One day and I'm back in school. I'm pretending I don't know how to shake hands, but she already knows I can sit - I can't fool her! She took me for a walk by the lake which was fun but then later today they put me in the car again. Oh no - am I going to another home?!
Later on they took me to an even bigger lake. I couldn't even see the other side. And the water sloshed and chased me up and down the sand. My mistress told me this is called the ocean. I was scared, but it was kind of fun. The soft squishy stuff they called sand felt funny between my paws, and I met lots of other dogs.
After that they took me to a place called a cafe. I've never seen one of those. The humans sit at tables and drink this horrible muddy looking water they call coffee. Yuck!. I probably shouldn't tell you this but they scraped a little ice cream from the plate and dropped it on the ground. It was yummy.
I'm so tired, and I miss my foster family and the other dogs but I have a good feeling about my new home.
